Wondrous Media Fantabulous Escapade@Sangkot

One late Saturday night on 22 December 2012, I was wandering the streets of Batu 15 ½, Hulu

 Langat looking for the banner Tourism Malaysia hung up at Sangkot, the suburban city of dreams. 

 I  address my honour to Zolhaili Latiff, the person with big chimera developed his own fruit farm to 

became Sangkot Garden Wedding Place. More than that, Sangkot also suitable for events like Family Day,

 Birthday Party, Reunion Meeting Point and Press Briefing. Sangkot via facebook at 

www.facebook.com/sangkotplace. The crowd were casually dressed like the Night 

Fun Party theme – ‘It’s a Jungle Out There’ in colourful jungle printed and most of women 

looks elegant wearing designer dress. I am surprised the dinner here are prepared from natural ingredients

 and served in a traditional way.  The Malaysian food signature like ‘laksa’, curry mee, ‘satay’ prepared 

with milk tea and orange juice. The dessert like ‘jongkong’ is mouth watering known as Hulu Langat speciality 

taste different.

Deputy Director General (Planning) Tourism Malaysia,  Dato’ Azizan Noordin told 

media on Saturday that the place like Sangkot at Hulu Langat is adorable by Arab tourist

 because in Middle East is very difficult to see trees and grass. Moreover, commonly Arab 

expatriates stay in Ampang area nearby Hulu Langat.

Representative from Gaya Travel Magazine won the best dress of the night and for me

 they are elves alike. The attire really impressive and the whole audience turns their eyes 

on them. It’s worth looks weird when everything is really prepared and follow the theme. 

 For this auld lang syne moment, I will always remember the music performance 

by Sri Cendana 6-piece band, Tourism Malaysia staff dance, sewang dance by 

‘Orang Asli’, ‘temuan’ tribe, Hulu Langat. hanna and Lisa came here to draw audience

 attention with face painting with jungle style. It's fun when we knew our face is tribal looking. 

My team, ‘Boney M’ entitled as a second winner of ‘Sukaneka Rakyat’ and I 

am grateful can feel the experience play traditional games and outdoor past times 

of old for instances ‘konda-kondi’, ‘kopek kelapa’, ‘parut kelapa’, ‘tarik upeh’, ‘sepak yem’, ‘congkak’, 

‘batu seremban’, ‘dam haji’, ‘galah panjang’ and ‘baling selipar’. 

The blissful participants rode bicycle from Batu 18 to Batu 19, Kuala Perdik. Glad 

to meet  Shaipudin Shah Harun and Riznida Eliza Hamzah, ‘Diuluhati Horse Riding 

Camp’. We surprised with the elegance lamb barbeque setting and tea time prepared 

with English elegance style. This effort prove that the villager with a future vision has

 an ability to make horse riding camp real and impressive. No wonder Tourism Malaysia

 came here to support Shaipudin Shah Harun and Riznida Eliza Hamzah business spirit. 

RM7O for an hour to experience ride Prince and King is worth. Shaipudin Shah Harun 

looks like malay cowboy with his pipe in his lips resemble he himself as a horse riding

I also joined them to ride back from ‘Diuluhati’ to Rambutan farm and all of us happy eating this hairy fruit besides the trees. Then, we cycling to the river and we took rubbish here as a River Cleaning Spirit. This is corporate service responsibility of Tourism Malaysia and media ambassador. After cycling, we go to Hulu Langat Hot Spring. Try to put your leg, it’s really hot in here. It is good for the people who has skin disorder and healthy.

In a nutshell, Media Fantabulous Escapade@Sangkot is really wondrous. Proud to be Malaysian. Malaysia, truly Asia.

Meeting The Zookeeper, Animal Trainer at the Show Amphitheater, National Zoo

 I felt so exciting when I got a chance to meet the zookeeper and animal trainer at the Show Amphitheater, 

National Zoo, Kuala Lumpur. Sharing their thoughts and experience live with the popular sea lion, 

Barth is a blessed. Most of National Zoo visitor will come to the Show Amphitheater on 11.00 

am and 3.00 pm to enjoy the amazing movement by Barth. Sea lions are very intelligent and can

 be trained to perform various tasks. Barth is the California sea lion. Mahat, an animal trainer 

started train Barth on 2002.

 During my childhood, I still remember the show by sea lion here called Hawkeye and Tuffy.

 Another animal is popular Rocket-ty and Mas Combi on 1985. Barth is recently the National 

Zoo star. California sea lions are commonly found in public display in zoos, circuses and 

oceanariums, where they are known as the classic "seals". Zainul Abidin Yahya as 

a zookeeper inform me that in United States, sea lion trained by the U.S. Navy for certain 

military operations. Moreover, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) lists the species of least concern for many. Therefore, sea lion has been regarded as a threat to endangered 

salmon at Bonneville Dam, where the officers were killed several individual offenders.

In biology, California sea lion (Zalophus californianus) is derived eared seals on the west coast

 of North America. It is one of five species of sea lions. Among the natural habitats of southeas

t  Alaska to central Mexico, including the Gulf of California. Sea lions sexuallydimorphic, 

males are larger than females, and have a thick neck and prominent peaks. They mainly pull 

out on the sandy beaches or rocky,but they also often man-made environments such as marinas 

and wharves. From May to August, the man trying to establish territory andattract female to mate 

with. Women are free to move between regions, and not forced by men. Mothers nurse their pups

 between foragingtrips. Sea lions communicate with various vocalizations, especially with skin

 and call the mother-pup relationship.

Outside their breeding season, sea lions spend much of their time at sea, but they come to 

the beach to molt. In 1980s, National Zoo, Kuala Lumpur received the service of Wolfgang,

 Germany animal trainer and the zoo also sent their staff to learn animal show discipline like 

seal, birds, eagle, macaw, primat, orang utan, otter, duck et cetera. Dewi Mulyani share

 her experience with me in National Zoo, Singapore. She learnt a lot about animal trick

 and cue. I really concerned about one interesting trick for public during the animal show.

 When public clap their hand to make Barth eat the fishes, he refused to listen. However,

 when  Zainul Abidin Yahya feeds him, he obey to listen. In this special trick, Dewi Mulyani

 inform me that the animal train to obey and loyal only to his or her trainer. In addition, whatever 

cues give by the visitor did not works to Barth. Barth did not follow the cues by public may because 

he will be confused, afraid, stress and will affect his mood to his performance. The zookeeper 

take care of Barth like an artiste. Barth sleep during night and he lay on his fancy bed, not in the

 pool. In specific time, the zookeeper will put salt in the water because California sea lion lives

 in ocean.

Water temperature for Barth is not too hot or too cold. He need to use ice tube to cool off his body.

When Barth’s hair fallen, the zookeeper will put specific medicine to him. Barth goes to medical 

treatment too.  Now, Barth is 23 years old and he came to National Zoo when he still 5 years.

 His friend is South African Cape Porseal called ‘Domba’, ‘Dombi’ and ‘Dombu’. Sea lions feed 

on several species of fish and squid, and preyed on by killer whales and white sharks. Moreover,

 California sea lions have polygynous breeding patterns. Unsurprisingly, in one day, Barth eat

 15 to 18 kg fishes like mackerel, squids and sardine. The animal for show will always busy 

trained by animal trainer behind the scene if not available to public performance. The animal

 will follow the cue and the voice of animal trainer and the action depends on what is human 

purpose want to achieve. Barth really need human love. Sometimes, Barth can see the zookeeper’s

 feeling like love, unloved, angry and sadness. If Barth scolded by the trainer, he will enter the pool

 and he will not listen to the words given by his caretaker. If the trainer wants his cheerful again, he

 must praise Barth with soft words like ‘clever boy’. The animal can understand every language 

used by the trainer. Commonly, English language is used because of the easy vocal like “Good Boy”.

            I am so cheerful and enjoy the animal show at National Zoo, Kuala Lumpur. By sharing my story, I hope it will raise awareness of public towards wildlife conservation.

You can also join the village shop and cookery courses  “Epicure Gourmet 

Master Chef "and enjoy the appreciation of wine and talk to other local events. 
New recordings this year is showing LuxuryPlus, luxury real estate investment

 opportunities and show, among others, and those involved in the possibility 

exists to hear the best in the industry. 
Go on Safari Super-Gourmet kitchen theater 
In a custom-made "theater kitchen", where restaurants served the festival,

 visitors can have "Gourmet coupon" to buy and enjoy the creation of "Super-Gourmet Safari" sampling of Malaysia's top chefs as they serve part of their 

Festival tasting menu. These specific parts are enough to show the creativity 

of the chef Festival, but small enough to sample so many of the restaurants as

 much as possible. Live music and cooking demonstrations take place, provides

 a fiesta for all visitors. 
Theatre of the kitchen is open to the public for a weekend of outstanding 

gourmet 11:00 - 10:00 hours on Saturday 27 and Sunday, September 28.
